One pill that lands a returning member on the exact post they stopped at.
A member who has been away for three days opens a thread with forty new replies and has no idea where they left off. This puts one pill above the posts that goes straight to the right place.
What it gives you:
• A "Jump to your first unread post" pill above the posts whenever a thread has replies newer than the member's read marker.
• The target is captured at thread entry, before MyBB advances the read marker on that same page view, so it always lands on the genuinely first unread post.
• The pill links to that specific post anchor rather than a generic new-post action.
• Guests, fully-read threads and threads with no fresh replies see nothing at all.
• Zero writes, zero settings, zero tables — it only reads the read markers and posts, and renders.
This is the 2.0 line, rebuilt as a versioned release from the deployed source; the original 1.x archive was not recoverable.

Questions people ask
Why does a member not see the pill?
Either the thread is fully read, it has no fresh replies, or the member is a guest. Those cases deliberately show nothing.
How does it know where I stopped?
It uses MyBB's own read markers, captured at thread entry before the marker advances.
Does it write anything to the database?
Nothing at all. It only reads and renders.
