A per-forum posting cooldown that actually holds under concurrent submissions.
Flood limits protect a board from scripts; they do not stop a heated thread turning into twenty posts a minute. Slow Mode adds a cooldown to the forums you choose, and serialises the check so two fast submissions cannot both slip through.
What it gives you:
• A cooldown of 0–3600 seconds, applied only to the forums you list. Leave the list empty and the plugin does nothing.
• Checks recent approved and pending posts alike, so a moderation queue is not a way around the timer.
• Native moderators are exempt, and edits and saved drafts are never blocked.
• MySQL named locks serialise the last-post check across concurrent submissions, held until the request shuts down.
This is the 2.0 line, rebuilt as a versioned release from the deployed source; the original 1.x archive was not recoverable.

Requirements

1. Back up your files and database first.
2. Upload the inc/ folder from the archive into your MyBB root, keeping the paths.
3. Admin CP → Configuration → Plugins → Install & Activate.

Questions people ask
Does it replace MyBB's flood limit?
No. It supplements the native flood limits rather than replacing them, and both apply.
Are moderators slowed down too?
No. Native moderators are exempt so staff can work at speed.
Can someone dodge it by getting their post queued for moderation?
No. Pending posts are counted too, which is exactly the hole this closes.
