Members buy VIP time with their credits, renewals stack honestly, and an expired pass removes itself.
A paid membership tier that runs on your own board currency instead of a payment processor: members spend credits for a stretch of VIP, and the board handles granting and retiring the group.
What it gives you:
• A VIP page with a status tile (active until a date, or a join call to action), a price tile and a live wallet tile.
• Buying deducts the price, adds your chosen VIP group as a secondary group, and logs the purchase.
• Renewals stack: each purchase extends the current expiry by a full period instead of resetting it to now, so nobody loses paid time by renewing early.
• A nightly 04:00 task strips the VIP group from expired members and retires their rows — no manual janitor work.
• Boards that have not chosen a VIP group get a polite "not configured yet" notice instead of a broken checkout, and an under-funded purchase is refused cleanly.
This is the 2.0 line, rebuilt as a versioned release from the deployed source rather than the missing original archive.

Requirements
- MyBB 1.8.40 is the tested target.
- PHP 8.1 or newer (runtime tested on 8.4.27).
- DF Credits installed and active.
- A usergroup you are happy to grant as a secondary group.

1. Back up your files and database first.
2. Upload the inc/ folder from the archive into your MyBB root, keeping the paths.
3. Admin CP → Configuration → Plugins → Install & Activate.
4. Admin CP → Configuration → Settings → DF VIP Pass: master switch, VIP usergroup id, price (default 250 credits), days per purchase (default 30).

Questions people ask
Does it change a member's primary group?
Never. VIP is granted as an additional (secondary) group only; primary groups are left alone.
What if a member renews early?
The new period is added to their existing expiry, so early renewal costs nothing in lost time.
What removes the VIP group when a pass lapses?
The nightly 04:00 task, which runs on MyBB's task schedule with normal board traffic.
