The plugin hooks into MyBB post submission, thread creation, and member profile pages. When a new thread is posted, all members watching that forum receive notifications. When a reply is posted, the thread author and all watching members are notified. Browser push notifications use the Service Worker API for real-time delivery.
Members can enable browser push notifications by accepting the permission prompt. PM alert sounds play when new private messages arrive — choose from pop, chime, beep, or silent. The admin panel includes a broadcast feature to notify all members with a single click.
