FC Page Speed Test
Benchmark page performance with 3 test runs, TTFB measurement, and resource breakdown.
The tool runs 3 sequential curl requests to the target URL, recording timing information for each. TTFB measures the time from request start to the first byte of the response. Total load time includes the full transfer. DOM element count is determined by parsing the HTML with DOMDocument. Resource breakdown analyzes the HTML to count different types of resources referenced.
Results display in a dark-themed interface with a performance score, 3 individual test run results, averaged stats, and a resource breakdown table.

Questions people ask
Q: Why 3 test runs?
A: Running 3 iterations and averaging provides more reliable results by smoothing out network fluctuations and caching effects.
Q: What is TTFB?
A: Time to First Byte — the time from sending the request to receiving the first byte of the response. Lower is better.
Q: How is the performance score calculated?
A: Based on average load time, TTFB, page size, and DOM complexity. Faster load times and simpler pages score higher.
Q: Does this measure client-side rendering?
A: No. This measures server response time and page complexity. For client-side rendering metrics, use browser DevTools or Lighthouse.
Q: Can I monitor page speed regularly?
A: Yes. The API endpoint returns JSON for integration with cron jobs or monitoring systems.
