Welcome message banner for new members with customizable styling.
A MyBB plugin that displays a welcome banner to new members on first login. Customizable title, message, colors, and dismiss behavior. Banner auto-dismisses after a configurable number of days. Members can manually dismiss with a click.
The plugin hooks into the user footer to display a styled banner box with accent colors and background. A dismiss link saves the user preference so the banner never shows again. Settings include title text, message text, accent color, background color, dismiss expiry in days, and whether to show the dismiss button.
No database tables required — uses a simple user field to track dismissal. Lightweight, no external dependencies, and fully styled with inline CSS to avoid template conflicts.
