World Clock Extension for phpBB

Live local times for your community's timezones, in the footer.
Forums are rarely in one timezone. This puts a small row of live clocks in the footer so everyone can see what time it is for the rest of the board.
What it gives you:
• A centred footer strip showing the current time in several zones, updating on the page without a reload.
• Times come from the browser's own internationalisation support (Intl.DateTimeFormat), so each visitor sees properly formatted times for their locale.
• Four zones ship by default — IST, UTC, New York and London — and the list is one data attribute, so it is easy to edit.
• No external requests, no images, no widgets from anyone else's server.
Honest note: the zone list lives in the template file's data-zones attribute. Changing the zones is a file edit, not a setting.
Verified before publishing: structure matches phpBB's extension format, PHP passes a PHP 8.3 syntax check, and the template hook (overall_footer_page_body_after) exists in stock phpBB 3.3.15.

Questions people ask
How do I change the zones?
Edit the data-zones attribute in the template file, using standard timezone names such as Asia/Kolkata or America/New_York.
Does it fetch time from a server?
No. The clock is computed in the visitor's browser from their own system time, using the timezone names you set.
Will it look wrong if a visitor's clock is wrong?
It shows that visitor's browser time converted into the zones you named — the same basis as any client-side clock.
