A floating pill that appears once you scroll, and takes you back to the top in one tap.
A small, single-purpose add-on: one button, fixed to the bottom-right corner, that stays out of the way until someone has scrolled a reasonable distance down a page.
What it gives you:
- A floating "Top" pill with an arrow, in the board's own accent style.
- Appears after 340 pixels of scrolling, hides again at the top, and never flashes on short pages.
- Smooth scrolling that the browser does itself, so a visitor who asked their system for reduced motion gets an instant jump instead of an animation.
- A passive scroll listener, so it cannot slow the page down.
No options screen, no database tables, nothing to configure: install it and the pill is there.

Requirements
- XenForo 2.2.0 or newer
- PHP 7.4 or newer (the Setup class is syntax-checked on PHP 8.4)
- The stock PAGE_CONTAINER template, so the </body> anchor is present
- No configuration afterwards - enabling the add-on is all of it

1. Admin CP > Add-ons > Install from archive, choose df-xenforo-back-to-top-1.0.0.zip, then Install.
2. Alternatively unzip it and copy the folder to src/addons/DataForums/BackToTop/ on your server, then click Install on the add-on row.
3. Open any long thread: the pill appears in the bottom-right corner after a short scroll.
4. To remove it: Disable first to confirm the pill disappears, then Uninstall. Nothing is left behind - it never wrote to the database.

Questions people ask
Does it load anything from outside my board?
No. The button, its style and its behaviour are all in the one template modification - no external scripts, fonts or requests. Can I change when the button appears? Yes, edit the single number (340) in the template modification under Appearance > Template modifications. Will it break my theme? It only adds markup next to </body> and uses its own dfxf- class names, so it inherits nothing from your theme and overrides nothing.
